ReadyMix Microcement is spread out in a 2 mm thick layer and the appearance is as cast.
What substrates can Microcement be laid on?
It can be applied to most wall substrates and as a guideline, if it can be painted, DBC microcement can be applied. This includes that if you have wallpaper, you need to check that the glue is not water-soluble because then there will be blisters in the wallpaper. Or if you have new plasterboard, the joints need to be stripped as usual.
How to put Microcement on walls?
Laying can be done quickly and takes place in 4 steps
Priming – laying – Grinding – Surface treatment.
On the side Laying guide There are clear and accurate instructions, including videos. . but in each shipment it comes with a basic laying instruction as well, you don't need any prior knowledge.
Tool?
No special tools, but it makes things easier of course. Our pavers make it so that you get a low angle of the blade towards the microcement, it is easier to polish the surface then.
With our outer corner chisels, it is easiest to get straight edges towards outer corners.
VAD ÄR MICROCEMENT?
Microcement är som ett ytskikt man spacklar ut där man önskar ett snyggt betongutseende. Man kan bestämma och kontrollera ytans ruffhet och kan väljas i flera kulörer.
Ett lager, är den stora skillnaden
DBC Readymix är framtagen av läggare som inte var nöjda med marknadens material. Därför är det naturligt att materialet håller hög kvalité. Vi har också valt en mer noggrann sortering av ballasten/fyllnadsmassan vilken gör att microcementen inte krymper. Det gör att man kan lägga 1 (ett) lager på 2 mm istället för andra microcementer som behöver flera lager för att uppnå samma tjocklek.
Genom att lägga ett lager kommer flammigheten från materialet fram på ett mer naturligt sätt. Det är också lättare att behålla fokus på slutresultatet och detaljerna än när man lagt samma yta 4 gånger. Pga att den inte krymper så behöver heller inte ha någon armeringsmatta.
VAD KOSTAR MICROCEMENT?
Om man ska lägga själv så ser materialkostnaden ut som nedan tabell. Ska ni lägga t ex 14 m2 så blir det billigast att köpa 6 + 9 m2 osv.

What should be considered before buying Microcement?
Before buying Microcement, it is important to
- See the material in reality. All manufacturers have nice, concrete-like images, but in reality the quality varies quite a lot.
- You also need to see the color in the light it will be in. Gray scales are greatly affected by the light.
- Check the surfaces so you have the right amount. This is especially important if you have a continuous surface as it will not look good if you make a break in the middle of the surface.
- Be well informed because microcement is a natural material and it is not the same as buying tiles.
